DON’T GET DIEPPE’D - ST. JOHN’S BOARD OF TRADE

For Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, ordering online can feel like a game of chance. The culprit? Dieppe. For packages, the sorting facility in Dieppe, New Brunswick, is a necessary stop. But for many online shoppers, it's a place where packages go to disappear, earning it the local nickname, "the Bermuda Triangle of Packages." The St. John's Board of Trade wanted to playfully remind locals that they could bypass the Dieppe vortex completely. When you buy local, your package doesn’t have to make the pilgrimage—it's already here, safe and sound.
