Jason Hill. Executive Creative Director.
For over 25 years, I've had the pleasure of working on some of the biggest brands in the world, picking up a few awards along the way.
My journey kicked off in 1997 in the UK. I started at some great little boutique agencies before landing at TBWA, where I got to work on some major UK brands.
In 2002, I took the leap and moved to Toronto to join TBWA Chiat/Day. It was an exciting time, moving between some of Canada's most creative shops like Taxi, Zig, and Crispin Porter Bogusky. We produced many award-winning campaigns for brands like Axe, Nissan, IKEA, and Virgin.
In 2018, I made a big change, leaving the city life for Newfoundland to become Executive Creative Director at Target Marketing. It was an incredibly rewarding experience; In my second year I helped the agency win Strategy's inaugural Small Agency of the Year. That same year was also our most successful awards season in 40 years.
More recently, I spent the last three years as Executive Creative Director at Cossette, focusing exclusively on McDonald's. It was a massive opportunity, and I'm proud of the creative department we built. We created many successful and internationally recognized campaigns, with some even viewed as 'best-in-class' of all McDonald’s markets worldwide, by McDonald's Global.
Throughout my career, I've been fortunate enough to have my work recognized internationally at major award shows like Cannes, One Show, D&AD, and Effies, both as a creative and a creative director.
